Hey Guys

I hope you had a good week.

I have had a week filled with lots of fun and creative stuff which is just how I like it.

New Placement: Diablo Resurrected Trailer

Pretty happy to see that my first cue from the album Throat 5 landed on this game trailer the other day.

Doubly pleased as Vik and Jamie at Elephant Music had done some guitar overlays which absolutely kill it!

Triply pleased because I spent many hours of my teenage life playing the first Diablo on my PC.

Updating my website

I have spent an inordinate amount of time this week updating my website.

The main reason being that the students of Protege were set the very same project to prep their online presence.

I took a look at my website and realised that I had practically none of my placements on there.

I thought, “Hey, I am doing all my hard work and injustice here”

So I sought to make this right.

As of today I have managed to cover 2016-2019 but I have my pre-2016 and my post 2019 placements still to add. I am very happy to see how many and how varied my work is.

I am not one to toot my own horn (hee hee) but I am very proud of all the things I have achieved.

You should be too.

Why don’t you take some time this week to update your online presence, even if it if just for your own feel good factor!?

You can take a look at all my placements here.

Zac Rivers New Single - From The Darkness

Really excited to announce that my synth-wave alter ego, Zac Rivers, has a new single coming out very soon.

New Podcasts coming soon (yes, there will be more than one!)

I don’t know whether you know this, but I blooming LOVE doing my podcasts.

They are a lot of fun, plus it is really nice when I actually get to speak to another human being let alone another creative person

#winning

So as you know I have my Trailer Music Composer’s Podcast and Composed (which I have left alone for a while).

TTMCP is awesome BUT, it is focused entirely on Trailer Music.

And as you know by now, my interests reach wider than that.

Sooooo, I am going to be launching

The Richard Pryn Show - interviews with awesome music makers to keep you inspired and motivated to do what you love.

Or something like that. This one will be all interviews with cool and interesting people.

I’m currently booking the first wave of interviews now :)

If there is anyone who you would like to hear interviewed please do let me know.

Exciting

Aaaaaand

The Quiet Whisper - thoughts and musings on creativity, inspiration and life

The Quiet Whisper podcast logo: thoughts and musings about creativity, inspiration and life

This one is more of a creative outlet and was inspired by the passing of my mother in law and an amazing video by one of our Protege students, Anna Eichenaur.

This is kind of whispered stories and thoughts set to my solo piano music.

Fairly niche but it gets me excited which is very important.

I will also start up my Composed podcast episodes too as I really have missed them :D

Sharing my Trailer Cues

Some of my most popular videos on YouTube are (unsurprisingly) my music.

So I thought I would share some here.

This is Tomb, from the Throat series, that has landed on a least 3 trailers. I think 2 of them were for HBO’s The Outsider.

Enjoy

End with silliness

Comments

Oh and I am in the process of making ‘member only’ comments available so that you can reply to these newsletters on the site and we can get the chat going.

Especially as I have noticed I ask questions of you but give you no way of replying (hahah)

Anyhoo,

Thanks for taking the time to read this (or skim down to here anyway) - I really do appreciate it.

I hope you have a good weekend.

You are an absolute legend,

Rich
