#10 - Boredom, New Album, Legoland, & Freebies

Hey Guys,

I hope you have all had a good week.

This week I took a day off to go to Legoland with my wife and (two of) my kids.

It was awesome, they have been doing it up and replacing the 25 year old lego so it is actually looking pretty decent right now :)

It reminded me that as much as it is so important for us all to pursue our dreams and do good work that fulfils us, it is also incredibly important to switch off and have fun.

Fun!?

That thing we do occasionally that means we are completely present in our life.

I have made a concerted effort over the last couple of years to switch off more and have more fun and the thing I notice is that I come back to my work with more clarity, am more focused and generally more productive.

So despite taking the day off, I managed to get all my things done in less time.

New Album

My daily piano improvisations are proving more and more popular (not just with me that is) and I have a new collection of them hitting the stores very soon.

So click the smart link below to pre-save the tracks to listen to when you need some music to relax to, or work to, or just because you love solo piano music.

Boredom!?

Not just your everyday boredom mind.

Although, since smartphones, I don’t think I know what that type of boredom feels like anymore.

I’m talking about boredom of the samples you use.

Sample fatigue.

So, I decided to do another YouTube video about refreshing your mind, your ears and your creative drive by sampling my tumble drier!!!

Check it out below.
